Bubbles!

This is one of the greatest inventions ever! The bubble cyclone from target.
About the size of a softball it sits on top of a jar of bubble stuff and runs on 3 AAA batteries.
It makes bubble like you would not believe (I bought it and an extra bubble jar for under ten dollars)
I put it on top of the BBQ to give it a chance to actually release the bubbles before they get whacked at by Max and Gwen.
