This is not my car

I bought a car.

Not this car, this is my loaner while they replace a window motor and replace the tires.

I opened the local Ford dealership having seen a 2009 Saturn Outlook in their used stock online. Long story short (I already lived it once today) I drove it and loved it. My amazing neighbors Josh and Alicia watched Max and Gwen while I did this part. I came back got some more paper work they needed and took Max to school. Gwen and I went back to negotiate the financing which was direct and civilized.
During the car inspection they found the tires needed to be replaced and one of the window motors was dying. (They are replacing both at no cost to me)
Happy Ending I get the car Wednesday!

Car Facts: a deep red saturn outlook 2009, 39,000 miles, front wheel drive, v6 engine
I am so excited to sport it!

Our Room

Done! So happy. Hauled the extra army gear up to a spare closet and put furniture back after the tv hook up.

Walking in the door

The bed, oh is that the amazing quilt I made :) I have hopes of some how hanging/displaying it as a headboard.

Looking from the bathroom toward the door.

I need a table under the tv and I am messing with where to put the pictures. But I kind of like the mirror on the floor.

It may not thrill you...

Well it may not thrill you but I am extactic!

All the clothes are organized. I bought those cool velvety skinny hangers and I could not be happier. We have a huge closet but not so much drawer space. I was able to hang a lot of my shirts and sweaters without fear of them growing wings.
The master bedroom would have been photo worthy but our tv is being installed today and a bunch of the furniture had to be hauled around to get to the cable jack.

Tour of Our House: Upstairs

I have been wanting to do this ever since we moved in! Partially because I knew I would have to clean up to be able to post the pictures. Slightly grainy because I took the pictures on my iPhone (my computer is still not hooked up yet and that is where I load pictures).

The upstairs is two rooms and a bathroom. Max and Gwen share a bedroom and the other room is my secret hideout. The kids room was my priority to set up so their room was the easiest to start with picture-wise.
Here is the view as one comes up the stairs.
The door on the right is their bedroom.

Yes, I do plan to make Max and Gwen learn to store their shoes in this adorable manner.

I just got the coat racks up yesterday. Max and Gwen love how they each have their own space.

Kid bathroom, how could I pass up a crazy monkey shower curtain?

Annnnnnnnnnnnnnd when I went searching for a toothbrush holder I was not disappointed. If you let him solar charge his head bobs, kind of silly.

Max and Gwen's room as you walk in the door. Max found Dr. Seuss wall decor at Target!
The black letters on the dresser say MAX and GWEN and will go over their beds later today. (I have had these for years and decided it was ridiculous not to spend the 10 min to put them up.)

About the 4th day here I realized Max and Gwen were waking up super early because they get tons of morning light. I like how the curtains add some color to the walls.

Max's bed was a beastie to arrange in this room! Beds and couches I have to see in place before I can decide if it works.

My secret hideout - yeah I will be lucky to find my sewing machine by the end of March. I did go stash diving the 3rd night we were here and it was an adventure worthy of Indiana Jones.

Yep we have a mess.

In Our House

We are out of the hotel and in our house! I would take a bunch of pictures but they would look mostly like this

Stuff spread in piles and large white walls.
I will do pictures once our household goods arrive. Should be Friday.

I really do like the place: it has THREE bathrooms, two small bedrooms, large kitchen with appliances, a master bedroom and and a front room I am not sure how to accessorize.
